On Saturday 7th February I will be giving a talk at the Globetrotters Club in Covent Garden, London, about my expedition last May from Almaty, across southern Kazakhstan, to the Aral Sea, or what remains of it. You can find details of the meeting here. Entrance is open to all and tickets are available on the door – £10 for non-members. I have around 100 slides to show, so if you want to know what’s happening to the remnants of the Aral Sea please come along.
